If you ask the average lawyer or legal support person what they find most frustrating about Microsoft Word, their answer is likely to be automatic paragraph numbering.  Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t; sometimes it works initially and then goes sideways when the document is edited.  Moreover, when it breaks, it can be difficult to fix.  In this seminar, we’re going to focus solely on this topic and believe it or not; there is a way to set up multi-level numbers, letters or bullets that will not break, and will work perfectly no matter how you edit the document.  If you’ve experienced paragraph numbering frustration, this seminar is for you!

Barron K. Henley, Esq. is one of the founding partners of Affinity Consulting Group, a legal technology consulting firm focused on automating and streamlining law firms and legal departments.  He earned his B.S./B.A. (marketing and economics) and J.D. from The Ohio State University and is a member of the American, Ohio and Columbus Bar Associations, and the Worthington Estate Planning Council.  He is a Fellow of the College of Law Practice Management, a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, a member of Ohio Supreme Court Commission on Technology and the Courts, and a member of both the ABA Law Practice Management and the Real Property Trust and Estate Law ("RPTE") Sections.
